My cousin's son passed away in a tragic accident after getting stuck between stacked gates. It is very dangerous. **Q: Does this gate have hinge hardware for swinging open** A: Yes, this is included. **Q: Will this work if stairway is glass?** A: There are rubber stops where its pressure mounted against wall or in this case glass so it should work for it and wont slide. **Q: can it be used outdoors?** A: I would think so. I use it my puppy and wash it every other day and air dry on my patio. I would be comfortable using it outdoors. ## Frequently Bought Together - Toddleroo by North States Supergate Ergo Child Gate, Baby Gate for Stairs and Doorways. Includes Wall Cups.
