Review: Looks amazing in my hot tub, but rusty - Edit: Now it’s several weeks later, this light still works! I adjusted my rating and adding to my review because of the amazing customer service. After writing my original review below, the company contacted me and was proactive on correcting any issues. They went above and beyond any expectations. Again, even with a little bit of rust, this light still works. 💙 I received this light six days ago. I’ve used it in my hot tub twice and water has obviously gotten inside and the battery port is already rusted. I had the lid screwed on firmly. I’m going to dry it out in the sun and try a layer of Teflon tape to see if that seals it up better because this light really is cool. I added two photos of my hot tub with the light on. The blue is amazing and chill and the green makes it look really witchy!💙💚🧙 The remote works only when it’s about a foot- maybe 18” or less underwater. When I had the light at the bottom of the hot tub, the remote did not work. I simply pulled up the light to make the adjustments I wanted and put the light back. If you use the suction cup, I would peel the light off by slipping a fingernail under the edge of the suction cup, rather than just pulling on the unit. The rubber casing is quite thin and I would imagine it can tear easily.

**Q: I wonder why the green flangy things are on this?  I bought it, it's like another I have, but the original one is plain, no flanges...**
A: It’s a rubber case that suctions, I think it’s supposed to look cool

**Q: How is it turned on and off?  Do the batteries drain if turned off using the remote?**
A: You turn it on and off with the remote. It has an on and off. It Tom on the remote.  It will not drain the batteries if it is off.

**Q: ordered this for the coleman hot tub but it doesn’t stick how can I get it to stay? Any ideas?**
A: Try on the floor. It worked for me

**Q: How can I get this to stick in inflatable hot tub?**
A: Does your inflatable hot tub have a surface that a suction cup can stick too?  If so you will want to apply it there.  If not you could stick it to an object that can sink into the water that has a surface for a suction cup and apply it to that.

I wouldn’t not even give this one star if I was able too. It isn’t worth more than a $5 at most. Would not suction to anything and quit working after submerged in water twice. Do not buy.
