Simple ingredients , yet so many companies try, but fail to produce a tasty product. Hummustir is a Good effort, but needs more flavor.Pros:Easy to MakeOrganic, Vegan, gluten free and Non-GMOShelf stable- great idea for work lunch, travelNo PreservativesLower calories than refrigerated brandsfun project for kids learning to create meals for themselves without heat.Cons:Absolutely flavorless, no better than canned hummus in flavor.Says consume within two days- Short life for something that has 12 servings.Didn't taste any lime, which is the flavor profile for this version.While I didn' t like the taste of this product, it's ok if you add your own spices, a bit of garlic and salt helps. I think most people would like this if they have never had fresh homemade hummus. I personally think most of the refrigerated brands taste far better.I was so hopeful that this product would deliver on flavor, but it did not. It's a great idea, the product ticks so many boxes except for flavor.Update: What I found was the next day the taste of the product significantly improved. Somethings taste better the next day. Yesterday the item tasted awful on its own. Adding some salt and garlic helped, but it still wasn't great. But the next day, the texture and taste improved. It gives it a cheap, artificial flavor that completely overwhelms all other flavors.
