It is not of the stretchy type (i.e. the material does not have elastic nature) On the other hand, the cutting is pretty roomy and it does not restrict movement at all. **Q: Do these jeans have a straight leg cut or a bootleg cut? Thank you!** A: I wear Justin Roper boots and it fits well over the heel.
