Review: Perfect mid-level guitar - I wanted an upgrade from my 30 year old Epiphone acoustic, but didn't want to spend $3000 for a Martin (I'm not a professional musician). This was a perfect upgrade for my needs. It shipped with Elixir strings, which sound incredible (my new go-to brand for acoustic). This is a very well built guitar, and it plays smoothly. A great value for a mid-level electric acoustic.

Really nice guitar for the price. Great sound and playability. Has a buzz I need to deal with, which brings up the fact that Yamaha does not warrant any product that is not purchased from an authorized dealer. Overall a good guitar. Bought the AC3R and the A3M. They're both fun. AC3R sounds slightly richer and fuller. ( Rosewood vs. Mahogony) A3M has better action and plays lighter. Electronics great on both. Have had 3 guitars custom made and have purchased an assortment of other manufactured guitars, I'm happy with both of these and I suspect for the price, you would be also.
