## Description

Hearing loss from loud sound affects millions of people, but noise-induced hearing loss is preventable! ER20XS high-fidelity earplugs reduce sound levels while preserving sound quality and clarity. ER20XS earplugs are configured to replicate the natural response of the ear, so sound quality is the same as the original, only quieter. Music, voices and other sounds are clear--not muffled--making ER20XS ideal for concerts, clubs, theaters, aircraft, construction, yard work, airshows, parades, and athletic or motorsports events. The new low-profile, stem-less design fits snugly in the outer ear without protruding, making ER20XS comfortable to wear under hats, helmets, and other headgear. The standard-size eartips fit the majority of ears. ER20XS earplugs are reusable, but with repeated use, the eartips may lose elasticity. For best performance and retention, if you use your ER20XS earplugs frequently, replace the eartips every 3-6 months. ER20XS are not recommended for use with impulse noises such as gunfire, or for sleeping.

Review: Works very well. - My wife suffers from ear ache when its windy. Past earplugs muffle the sound. These block wind but let's her hear.
Review: Best Hi-Fi earplugs I've used - I have very sensitive ears, and have also been to many events where I was worried about permanent hearing damage. Not anymore thanks to these. I've used a few Hi-Fi earplugs before, but all of them just muffled the sound the same way regular foam earplugs would, while these preserved much more of the sound quality. I've been to concerts, clubs, music festivals etc. wearing these, and there's a noticeable drop in volume, while for the most part it preserves sound quality. I have felt a slight muffling at some of the more extreme frequencies (highs and lows), however it is absolutely worth the trade off to protect your hearing. The deep fit can be uncomfortable for some (if that's the case, try using the foam tips), but after using them for a while I think most people can get used to them, just make sure to keep your ears clean and to insert the deep fitting tips in the proper way (shown in their tutorial)! They're also light enough that after some time you pretty much forget they are there. When it comes to sound now, etymotic is the brand I swear by, and I'd highly recommend these, you really won't be disappointed! Update: I have been using these for over 5 years now, and my impression of these has only gotten stronger. They have held up so well in every single situation I have thrown them at. I am very thankful I no longer deal with ringing ears (and the hearing damage that it signifies) after being in loud environments, and carry them with me everywhere I go. It might seem a bit odd and you may get a few laughs by putting in earplugs depending on the environment but please take protecting your hearing as more important. Etymotic is still the audio brand I'll swear by.
