Not quite a satiny feel, more like a quality hotel sheet. Washed well. Best of all- she loves them! And she is very hard to please. When a guy tries to order a combination gift/household item some women are very tough to please. I got one of those. There was a lot of resistance to my ordering these sheets, "But honey, our sheets are fine." After one night on these sheets I've never heard another word. That's a win in my book. Highly recommended.Fall of 2019 - Had these sheets for over a year now. Use them pretty much daily with weekly washes. They haven't changed one bit. Tough as nails! Great for teenagers! If you like really soft sheets these aren't for you. The cat can't make a dent in them with his sharp as razors claws. Feels almost like a very light canvas. A bit warm for here in Florida. I've bought super expensive and super cheap sheets before, and these are by far the worst I've ever had.
