**Q: Where is it made**
A: It's made in the USA!

**Q: How do you fix the handle not staying up?**
A: You don't. Mine won't stay up and somehow it got bent when crushing cans, so it's going to be tossed out.

**Q: I know it says 16oz, but I mostly drink Bai water, which is 18oz. Anyone know if this will crush those?**
A: Our McKay Can Crusher is best for 16oz and would not recommend it using 18oz. You might need to crumple it a bit so you can use it on 16oz.

**Q: Will this crush metal soup cans?**
A: Possibly. I've never tried it though. I do know that it would require a great deal of strength and the can crusher would have to be mounted to something extremely solid in order to do so. If only mounted to the wall as mine is, I could see it tearing loose if used to crush something made of heavier metal, such as soup cans. Again, this is only conjecture on my part, but based on sound principles of physics.

Crusher its self feels like good quality , Installation screws are less than desirable, actual screw head came off of screws when tightened by hand with a screwdriver and my power drill stripped the screw heads . I bought the McKay Can Crusher/Smasher because I was getting embarrassed by the racket of all my empty beer cans clanging around when dumping them into the recycling bin. Not only does it crush each can down to about 1-inch thick, saving me tons of space in the recycling bin, but it also makes the process super quiet. Been using this for a few months now, works great! It's easy to clean if someone doesn't rinse a can out, my 6 year old can do it no problem too. It feels a little loose, like you can move the handle left and right a bit, but it hasn't seemed to negatively impact it at all. Love doing this instead of trying to do it with my foot. UPDATE - So, multiple months later, and many many cans, it's not holding up as nicely anymore. The handle no longer stays up, it's down all the time. While it still crushes cans, it feels looser now than before, and I'm a little scared about it. Still works, though.
