I haven't got the bettas yet, they are due to arrive this Tuesday. But so I have a glo fish, 2 ghost shrimp, 2 algae eaters, 2 snails and a couple of aquatic plants. This product has been great at keeping firmly stationary in the center of my tank. I had to do some cutting to modify it to fit, but it was not difficult to do at all. I have a small gap at the top of one end of the divider, but so far it has been great at keeping the glo fish and the ghost shrimp on their prospective sides of the tank. The snails and algae eaters have been able to sneak back and forth to each side of the tank which I have no issues with. I have read some of the others reviews about using this for bettas, so I am a little leery how well my two bettas will do once they are let loose in this aquarium. I am hoping they will not be over stressed with being able to see through the divider. But just in case, tomorrow I am heading to purchase a 25 gal aquarium I had already planned to purchase. So if they get to stressed, I will just move them to the larger aquarium and use this or another like product to separate them. ### ⭐ HORRIBLE PRODUCT *by M***T on March 5, 2012* I just recieved this item and put it together very easy. I am using it to seperate two different types of baby cichlids in my 55 gallon tank. This product does not even touch the walls on side of the tank. The babies can still make it by both sides of the so called seperater. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I think that it should be taken off the market and this company should be taken to court for false advertisement! The only thing this is going to stop from getting to the other side pf your tank is the fish fecies that gets caught on the center of it.DON'T WASTE OR TIME WAITING FOR THIS PRODUCT TO COME IN THE MAIL...BETTER YET DON"T WAIST YOUR MONEY BUYING IT! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great, but not so great *by B***Y on March 19, 2015* A couple problems with this divider. The side brackets/supports curve, and do not fit snuggly to the wall of the aquarium. This allows a door way on each side for fry of all ages to slip thru. Every morning I get up to see how many can be caught and moved back over as I'd like to keep them from being eaten. Another issue is overall height. We have a standard 55 gallon. We also fill the tank to its capacity for proper water flow, and to reduce splash noise.
