Review: This life like German shepherd dog is beautiful - Melissa and Doug have a reputation as repping excellent quality items and this plush German shepherd life like dog toy is definitely a quality item. I really don’t know why I purchased it other than it was on sale and I love dogs. I’m really too old to have plush animals however I really really like this beautiful toy. So far I have been looking for the perfect place to put her and she is currently watching over my hallway. The proportions are very close to a real dog and after loosing my k9 companion a couple of months ago I have to admit that it felt good to touch this beautiful plush dog. My remaining real live German shepherd does not have a problem with this toy. I simply introduced them the same asi would if the dog was a real living breathing dog. The sniffing began and then all was good . My real dog doesn’t mind having this life size dog in the house and she has left it alone and hasn’t chewed on it at all. I’m very very happy with this purchase and if I had someone who would love it, I would absolutely give as gifts. I have thought about buying this and some realistic looking plug kitties for my local nursing home as I’m pretty confident that this would be an awesome addition to the memory care patients. I know that my gifting of plush kitties and nice baby dolls have been well received. I would definitely purchase again and this is definitely gift worthy.

I have name him Vagus (like the vagus nerve) and he was my "model". Vagus displayed my pet red light (which actually also has NIR, green and blue lights as well). These things are a hit (QVBioBalance.com) to pet parents and they go out of stock often, thanks Vagus and to Melissa & Doug for such a lifelike dog. We let people come and pet him too. It was so funny because they would make comments like wow he's obedient LOL.

A: I'm no doctor, but I think it would be fine for demonstration purposes.

**Q: Is it all stuffed or does it have hard pieces in it**
A: It is mostly stuffed but does have some harder pieces in the feet and head. It does not change position at all, but it is great! Kids can definitely hug/snuggle it. And it is huge/lifelike as pictured.

Melissa and Doug have a reputation as repping excellent quality items and this plush German shepherd life like dog toy is definitely a quality item. I really don’t know why I purchased it other than it was on sale and I love dogs. I’m really too old to have plush animals however I really really like this beautiful toy. Got this German Shepherd for my 7 yr. old daughter for Christmas. I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping until I received an email from Amazon, clicked on it and a picture of this dog opens up! It was so cute online that I had to order it!! My daughter absolutely loves this thing! We have a G.S. which is why I got this for her. Problem is, they are hard to tell apart!! This dog is so real looking, it's scary!! There have been times when I have gone into my daughters room thinking it was "our" dog and here it's not the real one!! Anyone who is a dog lover needs to have one of these, depending on what breed of dog they like. Melissa & Doug's products are always high quality also. This dog is very, very sturdy also. Obviously, who needs more "stuffed" animals, believe me, I felt the same way, but I definitely don't regret getting this guy!!!
