These couplers are a slightly smaller outside diameter and thickness than the OEM couplers, but that doesn't appear to matter. I was able to split the remaining cord of wood I had in the yard, and the coupler looks great so far. I have ordered another set just to have on hand. Update 24 September 2023: 3 years and at least 12 cords of wood later, this coupler is still in great working condition. I'd give this 6 stars if I could. That second coupler I bought to have on hand?
