    Delightfully Classic Mickey and Minnie Story

This is a delightfully classic Mickey and Minnie Mouse story which features cameos from many of their friends.  Subtle hints of modern sensibilities will entertain the adult reader, while the beautiful art and charming story will appeal to even the youngest children.

I am disappointed.  The book turned out to be a poor copy of an old comic book.  It was so badly copied that the flaws and damage in the original comic book pages were also copied.  Plus, this comic represents the period of transition in which the old comic pictures and stories were "upgraded" by some genius who traded the old look for a mess of pottage.

    A Different Mickey Mouse Story

This graphic novel, detailing Mickey's early career as a screenwriter in 1927 and his first meeting with Minnie Mouse, was a lot of fun! Less an adventure, less a traditional Mickey Mouse story and more a thoughtful, melancholy tale of introspection, it felt like a real change of pace while still remaining true to the characters. Almost as if F. Scott Fitzgerald were writing a Mickey Mouse story. And the art was really evocative of the early Mickey Mouse comic strip and movies, as well as other Walt Disney cartoons. Reading this book made me feel happy, and that's exactly what I was looking for from it.
