Second, I like his hair on the slightly longer side (just about shoulder length) and his bangs get in his eyes so I wanted to keep his hair out of his eyes. This works exceptionally well for both of those things! I received this and immediately used it to get his hair out of his eyes. Since it’s lightweight you can just rebrush it if it gets a little messy or if their nap messes it up. I did this and it worked perfectly after his nap! It doesn’t dry crunchy either it’s very soft. That night I gave him a bath and applied this to his curls on the back of his hair, and the next morning when he got up he still had the curls! As far as the scent, I think it’s pleasant. It's very lightweight and easy to use. I use it for volume rather than holding a particular style and it works well for my hair. I'm not sure it would do well with styles that need firm hold, though. It does have a very subtle, natural chamomile scent. I don't know if that would be appropriate for someone needed an unscented product, but for me this is fine.
