After a few months, however, the steam burst button started to stick and eventually became permanently depressed meaning I was unable to get a burst of steam. I contacted Singer as it was still under warranty and they did send a replacement. Unfortunately, the exact same issue occurred within a couple of months. I have again contacted Singer and they are sending another replacement ( a different model). Reading other reviews, I can see that this has happened to others and is therefore a defect in this iron. I don't have a lot of faith that the slightly different model will be much different but I'll have to wait and see. If you intend to use this iron much ( I use it for sewing), you may have issues with it. I certainly won't be purchasing another Singer product as it appears that the quality of their products has deteriorated. ## Frequently Bought Together - SINGER SteamCraft Steam Iron (1700W) | Steamer with Stainless Steel Plate, OnPoint Precision Tip for Hard-to-Reach Areas, Vertical Steam, Auto Shutoff & 300ml Tank Capacity – White - Otylzto Premium Plastic Clips, 100 Pcs with Box, Sewing Notions for Sewing Quilting Supplies Crafting Tools, Assorted Colors for Craft - ZOMONETI 17" x 13.5" Wool Pressing Mat 100% New Zealand Felted Wool Ironing Mat Pad Blanket for Quilter, Sewing, Quilting Supplies and Notions --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/393667542-steamcraft-steam-iron-1700w-steamer-with-stainless-steel-plate-onpoint](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/393667542-steamcraft-steam-iron-1700w-steamer-with-stainless-steel-plate-onpoint) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
