My wood floors are 50 years old and refinished. In high traffic areas all finish was worn off. There are 'paths' through the rooms and deep scratches from a previous homeowner moving heavy furniture. Last year I tried Weiman but spots were left if any water dripped. I just used the Rejuvenate. I cleaned the floors with the Rejuvenate Cleaner because I wanted to make sure I did the job right the first time. All the dry time seemed tedious, but results are good. I gave the worn-out areas a third and fourth coat. The 'shine’ doesn’t make the shiny parts look different, but the bare wood traffic patterns are now blended in. The scratches are there, but less noticeable. Also, I sprinkled water on the floor and let it sit for several minutes. The water pooled on top and didn’t soak in or leave a spot. If I can keep the floors looking at least this good, I probably won't hire someone to completely refinish them. **Q: can you use without floor cleaner?** A: This may work on Modern hardwood floors, but I have antique hardwood floors and this did nothing for them! **Q: What is the drying time?** A: Drying time 15 minutes **Q: Can this be used on vinyl floors?** A: this is not more polyurethane if you read the ingredients its a acrylic product , which is strippable with floor stripers for ACRYLIC polishes. The kind commercial janitors use. You should be able to use this on vinyl that is safe to strip. Honestly, I’ve been very impressed with how well it works. This version is specifically the one that adds shine to the floors, which is exactly what I wanted, and it really makes a noticeable difference. After using it, the floors look much cleaner, shinier and more polished overall. It also gives the entire apartment a fresher and more organized appearance. One thing I especially like is that the clean look seems to last longer compared to regular floor cleaners. The only small downside for me is the application process. Since this product comes in a standard bottle, you need a separate spray dispenser or refillable mop system to apply it properly. The product works best when used pure and not diluted, but I wish this bottle were directly compatible with the company’s mop system because that would make the process much more convenient.
