Quality of the 3M adhesive and spoiler itself seem to be great, and the material is a flexible polyurethane that can bend to match the curvature of your rear windscreen. Will update if any deterioration is noted in the future.Here is my installation protocol. Might be helpful to other rookies like me.1. Prepare your materials. Take the spoiler out of the packaging (mine came in a cardboard poster tube) and let it straighten out on a flat surface for two days or so. Cut out a few 3" wide pieces of cardboard to help guide your spoiler placement as you install.2. Warm up the spoiler. When you are ready to install, leave the spoiler out in the sun for a few minutes (while you clean) so that it becomes softer and more flexible. Five minutes or so will do the trick!3. Clean the area. After cleaning with car wash soap & water, dry the upper rear windscreen, and use 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean away any residual oils or dirt. I recommend using a microfiber cloth to avoid leaving lint or dust behind.4. Position the spoiler. Leaving the adhesive backing on for now, place the spoiler onto your windscreen and use masking tape to hold in place. Make sure it is centered and even on both sides (see pictures, mine was just long enough to line up with the black roof liner on both sides).5. Use cardboard. Slip your cardboard pieces into the groove between the windscreen and the roof. This helps place the spoiler flush against the top edge of the windscreen. Reposition masking tape as needed.6. Adhere. When you are satisfied with the placement, peel off the 3M liner from one end and slowly adhere the spoiler to the windscreen, inch by inch. Use the cardboard pieces to guide your placement. Press firmly to adhere.7. Remove tape and cardboard. Apply pressure along the length of the spoiler to achieve maximum strength. Sit back and enjoy your work!8. Let rest for 24-48 hours. The color compliments my black gloss roof perfectly. It’s a less than 5 minute install (+2-3 min prep time) if you can get your wife/gf/bro/sis/mom/dad/buddy/boss to help you. Just have them hold down and keep one end aligned as you peel away the tape from the other end. I didn't realize that it was so flexible. The black matches well with the Crystal Black Pearl. Super easy to install and 3M tape sticks well. I watched a Youtube video on how to install the rear spoiler. The key is to clean surface well before installing.
