These are really fantastic for holding pencils and compressed charcoal sticks, small pastel sticks, or conte sticks. They're also the only holder I've found so far that can accommodate thick pencils like conte pencils. I really love how long they are, too.

Not a good product. Didn't work for holding vine charcoal for me. Maybe it only works for certain sizes. The small size of vine charcoal I use would just fall out. Disappointed but hopefully will find a use for it.
