This lapdesk has been so perfect to help me do so while still having all of the comforts of my desk. In fact, I've gotten to the point that I prefer to work on my sofa or in my kitchen using the lap desk rather than sitting at my desk, so much so that I just leave my laptop on this little desk for easy maneuvering about the house unless I am going out in the field. I do use another pillow underneath it to prop it up a little bit higher when it's sitting on my lap on my sofa, though. Works great for me. It's also perfect for when I'm traveling and wanting to work in remote locations or inside my campervan, and the carrying handle comes in quite handy. I don't use the cellphone cubby very often, but it's very handy when I do, and the mouse pad is invaluable to me. I also really like the wrist support. It's not super soft and I probably would have preferred gel, but it suits my purpose and supports my wrists well enough.
