Also the taste has been changed so much over the past 2 1/2 years for my favorite flavor the Chocolate Salted Carmel Pure Protein Bar that it's now greatly reduced the great taste it once had. Pure Protein still has the 19 -20 gram of protein per bar with it being carbs free but in the last few years they kept changing the recipe and reducing the bar size to the point they have destroyed which was once a fantastic high protein bar product. I am so disappointed. Now it's like a little candy bar tasting of lots of artificial additives. And, this new and so called improved bar does not have the energy pick me up like they use to with this scaled down mini sized bar. One used to do the job and now it takes two to fill me up as a meal replacement. Plus I'm not sure how they still can give the same protein content when the bar is now at 1/4 of the size it was a few years ago. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always a Fave 🍫 *by U***K on Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2021* This is my 3 or 4th box I ordered from Pure Protein and they're always good! This is absolutely the BEST flavor. I would recommend the Chocolate Peanut Caramel for the high protein count and deliciousness. Sometimes it's too good and you may be compelled to have just "one more" lol. I've tried other brands and nothing tastes close to actual non-protein bars as these bars do. It's probably the best balance of high protein and reasonable price (Quest bars are great, too, but they are twice the price). Chocolate peanut butter caramel is my favorite flavor, it's so yummy you will feel like you are eating a candy bar. I have to keep them away from my small children, who are convinced mommy is eating chocolate (sugar alcohols will cause tummy troubles in small kids so we do not let them eat these).
