The Tamper Resistant outlet is strong which is encouraging as we have little ones in the house. You do need to give the plug a strong push to get it through, but the outlet is solid and can handle the extra force. The green LED is plenty bright and visible - if you are installing directly in your line of sight while trying to sleep or rest, it may become a distraction. While there are two plates included to cover the fixture, the one without visible screws attached but felt a little flimsy. I was able to use the additional plate and it secured strong to the outlet. He was replacing a normal outlet with his company GFCI. There was a second outlet near water sources so I brought one of these out and had him install it. I was surprised that these are much better quality than the one provided by the solar company's electrician. So, I replaced his work with another one of these. The indicator light is helpful especially if it's a little out of reach.
