I plugged it in for about an hour prior to waxing. The wax was not too hot but flowed very well. I did my legs that had not been shaved for a couple of months and I looked like Chewbacca. I rolled it on, used each strip about 3-4 times and I had both of my legs done in about 30 minutes. One pass is all it took. Very high quality and my legs are very smooth. No rashes. No redness or any discomfort.Waxing was mildly painful, but tolerable.My 9yo was curious and I also waxed her hairy arms. She didn’t think it hurt that bad.Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this kit *by M***N on October 5, 2024* I was shopping for wax kits and went between this and another kit with hard wax that was Amazon's suggested buy. My instinct was to buy this one, but honestly some of the reviews made me nervous, so I went with the other kit, which came with a warmer, beads, and hard wax. I'm sorry I wasted the money on the other kit. I used to wax myself in the early 2000s, before hard wax was thing. I hate hard wax and that whole kit I bought. I found hard wax was so hard to apply--it would begin to dry before I'd even finished spreading it out. If you didn't get it just the right thickness, it was so hard to peel.I bit the bullet and came back to buy this one. I find soft wax so much easier to deal with, maybe because I have experience with it. I like the applicator...no applicator sticks. I didn't have issues with it clogging or anything. Sometimes you have to take a break and plug it back in for a few minutes as the wax starts to cool down (I do my legs, so you may not have to plug it in if you're waxing smaller areas). Wish I'd bought this one to begin with. ### ⭐ Very disappointed *by M***R on September 15, 2024* This crap wasn’t cheap and I have been wanting this for at least two years. I finally was able to get it for myself, and it was probably one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever spent. You would think that it makes it easier to apply and wax yourself, but to be very honest, it’s easier using Wax and a wooden stick and using that method instead of this method, I had very high hopes, but it was very disappointing. The application of the wax and how it sucks rolling on, those wax sticks will only do one section. doing your leg takes up a whole wax roll stick. so unless you’re willing to buy a lot of them very frequently , the mess that it makes, the stickiness all over the item at the end of use, it didn’t even come with the pre-wax spray even though it says use pre-wax as step one, but it doesn’t even come with it!!!!! I used baby powder so that my legs can be dry and rubbed it in and it still didn’t pull up all the hair and even when I went just straight on my legs with it, all hair still didn’t get pulled up. It still didn’t work so I used a whole wax stick all the freaking hair on my legs is spotty. It couldn’t even grip all of the hair. That’s how weak the wax is and it doesn’t do under arms , I tried doing my under arms without powder. The wax wouldn’t even come off. They were stuck in my armpits. I tried it again a few days later first applying powder because again it didn’t come with a pre-wax spray and the wax got stuck even more under my armpits do not wax bikini areas do not wax armpits, only wax legs, and thighs and arms wax that it comes with cannot handle sensitive areas whatsoever!!!
