I use it while taking a shower and now showering feels so much cleaner. I recommended it to all of my friends.I initially sought an alternative to tampons and pads when I was sitting shoulder to shoulder with my (very handsome) boss, then I sensed an odor... I was mortified! I was fed-up with my periods and thought, "There has to be a better way!"I liked menstrual cups health benefits over a traditional tampon, so I decide to give it a try. Super economical! Not to mention reusable. The only thing I buy each month are vinyl gloves for an easy insertion/removal. Then I spray the outside with vinegar water before wiping. Finally, I wash and boil my menstrual cups between uses.One thing I learned about myself is that I have a rather heavy flow, so I upgraded to a size 2. With the menstrual cup, I am able to guage how much I am bleeding, and more accurately determine when I have begun/ended my period, 100%Thank you, The Honey Pot Company. Tampons were becoming uncomfortable and pads were just a no no! So I opted for the menstrual discs... disaster! Didn’t work for me as I had leakage no matter how far I stuck that thing up there!Soooooo, I came upon the HoneyPot Co., read the reviews and there was one in particular that did it for me.... And I’m so glad I read it! I am SOLD! I will never purchase any other product! I guess bc I was used to being ‘personal’ with myself from using the discs, inserting the HPC wasn’t difficult for me the first time. I tried the c-fold... that didn’t work for me... I had SUCCESS with the punch down method and inserting it as I would a tampon. I could immediately tell that the cup was in position and it opened as it should. I expected leakage and there was ABSOLUTELY none!!!! (Used it overnight!). The removal was a little tricky, but once I figured out my technique it was easy! (you will definitely need to be secure with your body 😉) No spill, and honestly I thought I bled more than what I did!!! Simply poured out the contents, washed and reinserted! I love this product! I no longer dread my monthly visitor! I can insert this cup and forget it! I’m a severe cramper! I didn’t have a single cramp while using this product, which leads me to believe the cramps were from the tampons pressing against my cervix! I am a forever customer!
