I had had a pressed wood wall that is just temporary that I wanted to cover until we could redo this room. So I used the wallpaper paste to adhere burlap to the wall. Even with the wallpaper paste being somewhat rough the paste worked great in putting the burlap on the wall. It was just the right thickness to easily apply with a brush. I’m going to use it again to apply fabric to another wall. It cleans up quickly and is easy to wipe any excess up. Used a lot trying to get good coverage and not having it dry out too much before hanging. I found that thinning it with water to a desired consistency helped and didn't degrade its adhesion. Likely helped relax the paper better also while 'booking' it.
