After owning out my old CDI unit I decided to purchase this just in case it really was bad. Installation was very easy All the wires are correctly color coded except for on this CDI unit it's a red with white stripe instead of white with red stripe. After putting it in and putting my box back together my super jet started up great and has been running good for 3 to 5 hours now! Would recommend to any 1996-2007 superjet owner (or 2008 I don't remember!) Review: No shut-off!!😳 - CDI works, except you cannot shut-off the engine!!😰 This was a problem when I started my Superjet to test it, OUT OF WATER!! Had to yank a CDi wire to stop engine, before it overheated!!😰 Ended up adding a relay in addition to CDI, that would disconnect stater trigger to CDI, via press of kill switch. So, it was a hassle, but works with modification.
