I washed it immediately when I received it and it held up perfectly in the washer and dryer. It is soft and has that ‘cool’ feel that duvets often have so it’s not too hot. It’s more of a white than ivory, but very pretty and looks just as I wanted! Perfect fit for king size mattress. The only negative is there is nothing to attach the inside blanket to, it only has a zipper to keep it in.
