Review: Works better than harmful pesticides - Lowe's quit selling this product and I momentarily went into a panic, then I calmed down when I got out my phone and saw that I could order it on desertcart. We don't like to have harmful chemicals around the house so we've used this product for years. It quickly kills ants, wasps, the little brown roaches that hitch rides in brown paper bags, spiders . . . and has the pleasant smell of orange, not the gagging smell of chemicals. I've sprayed this on wasps as they were flying toward me and they drop out of the air immediately. Since I'm allergic to both wasps and a lot of chemicals, this is the perfect solution. I keep a spray bottle by all the doors to take out in the yard with me so that I can be safe while I'm out in the garden, walking out the front to get the mail or going out in the garage to get in the car. Last year, because of our severe drought conditions, the city had an epidemic of Black Widows. They were in our bushes, by the water faucets, in the garage, in the shed, around the front & back porch -- it truly was the "plague of Black Widows". We went through Orange Guard like crazy keeping our dogs, cats and ourselves safe from these poisonous spiders. We weren't about to kill spiders and then poison ourselves with the typical chemical insecticide. This works as well as well-known chemical insecticides, if not BETTER. It's safe to use around food (not ON food, but around food -- like at a picnic, for example), is safe around pets & children and adults. **Q: Is it dilutable?**
A: I dilute the 5% solution 1:6 when I spray it on the leaves of plants (1 part Orange Guard to 6 parts water).  Also be sure to test a leaf with the pests you are trying to eliminate before committing the entire plant. Just pick an infested leaf, inspect it with a microscope (I have one that fits over the lens of my smart phone), place the leaf in a dry sink and then mist both side to the leaf. Wait a few minutes then inspect the leaf to see if the pests are DEAD. If the pest are dead, then try a small section of a living plant that has infestation. I always wait until the plants are not in the direct light, as many plants are sensitive to solutions on their leaves and baked in the sun or grow lights.

**Q: Does this work well with flea problems**
A: This stuff is amazing, i am very sensitive to flea bites and for some reason i cant get around without them finding me to bite on. This has prevented me from bringing any home or allowing them to live long enough to lay eggs. I use it on my vehicle floor mats, my entry way rugs and my carpets.  I have been using it now about 10 years and wouldnt be without it.  If you are already infested it may take awhile to conquer your problem as you need eggs to hatch to kill the fleas. But this stuff works!

**Q: What's in the rest 94% inert ingredients?  Wonder if they're very safe for around kids.  Thank you!**
A: I have not been able to determine the inert ingredients other than this statement "All ingredients in Orange Guard meet the G.R.A.S. (generally recognized as safe) standard set by FDA.  d-Limonene is approved by the FDA as a food additive, and is found in products such as fruit cakes, cleaners, degreasers, air fresheners and pet shampoos. Orange Guard is 100% biodegradable and water-s". We are now using EcoSmart organic insect repellent which claims all natural and 100% child and pet safe. We have no children but are using it around pets. We are always cautious and try to research as much as possible. Hope this helps.

**Q: Does this come with a spray nozzle?**
A: This container did not come with a spray nozzle.  I used it to refill another spray bottle that I already had.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Relatively Safe Product that seems to Work.

This may not be the most effective roach killer in the world but is the safest I have found. Over a period of several days the only roaches I saw were dead. The spray seems to leave an oily residue that might stain some surfaces so I was careful where I applied it. In the kitchen I removed every sliding drawer, thoroughly cleaned them and carefully sprayed only the inside edges before putting in shelving paper. Then I gave the cabinet interiors good dose everywhere, waited for it to dry out a bit and reinstalled the drawers. In the rooms with ceramic tile I spayed along all the baseboards. Then I sprayed around every door entrance. Infestation gone in less than a week. Now once every five weeks or so I apply a light maintenance coat. I have had no reinfestations.
