Review: Outstanding Decaf, Rich & Creamy - TLDR: This is the best decaf I've had. I've been on a search for good decaf since I can only tolerate two cups of regular these days. I've narrowed the search to Swiss Water Method only. They say that chemical methods are perfectly safe. They also said that about cigarettes. Anyway, Swiss Water Method, Organic and Fair Trade in that order. Jo checks these boxes and has a rich, full body that I love. Smooth and creamy, just like the labels says. Low bitterness, although I don't mind a little bite. Excellent roast with no hint of burning. This is exceptional coffee. The other decaf's I've tried that meet my criteria: Costa Rica Decaf Tarrazu - This is also good stuff, just a little pricey. Almost as rich as Jo but not as smooth. Verena Street Sunday Drive - Another good choice. Light body, easy drinking. Not creamy. Not bitter. Organic Coffee Co. Gorilla & Hurricane - Hurricane is the better. Medium body, a little bitter. My previous go-to. San Francisco Bay Decaf Espresso Roast - Great for the price, just not exciting. Decent all-arounder. Kicking Horse Decaf - My first go with this last year was fantastic. They seem to have changed sources or roasting methods because the last two batches were slightly burnt and pretty bitter. Shame.

**Q: Is this coffee Swiss water processed?? It doesn’t say it on the package or product description.**
A: It does say "organic decaf, swiss water process" in the main title. I didn't notice if it said on the package itself.

**Q: Is jo coffee kosher?**
A: Hi Sabina. Our No Fun Jo Decaf Single Serve for K Cup Brewers is Kosher, but our whole bean and ground bagged coffee formats are not yet Kosher Certified. We are working toward that certification.

**Q: Just to verify. This decaf whole bean for grinding at home? Best coffee blogs say ignore best by date. Say roasted by date is what really matters.**
A: Yes, whole bean coffee does require grinding at home. Amazon requires the use of Sell by Date coding. We use a 1 year sell by date from the date of roasting.

**Q: Is this considered a low acid coffee?**
A: Good morning. It is on the lower end of the range of acidity compared to higher acidity light roast coffee. Many of the coffee reviews are those commenting it is easy on their stomach. Hope this helps.

This is a great decaf! I grind it for pour overs and it’s very smooth. I find it neutral, not too bitter or acidic.
