Using a Concorde Blades CGDO4RF cupped wheel and Toolocity aluminum dust shroud (both also bought from Amazon), the job was done easily and quickly. The grinder did not bog down or overheat in operation.Update: during my second use, the body did get hot enough to be uncomfortable, but I wrapped my fingers on the large switch and used my thumb on the top of the body. (cut-off wheel, wire-wheel, flap disk) Amazon & Dewalt offer $20 off a $100 dollar purchase a couple times a year and I just snagged this for the Fathers Day deal. The unit had sufficient power to cut through some hard wood using a carving blade. The only thing I wish I had bought was a model with a lock-on switch. I would have preferred to have been able to not have to maintain pressure on the switch so as to be able to move my hand. If I had to purchase again, I'd get the model with a locking switch. Otherwise it appeared to be of good quality and to perform well.
