They are comfortable and breathable. They fit him well, he is thin and tall but likes a little extra room to move. The fabric is lightweight but also sturdy. It holds up well to his work in the kitchen and they are easy to clean which I really appreciate. They are a little more expensive than we were expecting but they are worth it.
