The quality is excellent and it would make an excellent pencil or pen case for a student or artist. I actually use it as a case when I carry my chromatic harmonica with me. If it's good enough for an expensive musical instrument, it's good enough for some school or art supplies. It also looks very sleek and could be used to organize cables and USB drives for a business traveller.The zipper was sticking a little bit out of the box however, I usually put chapstick on zippers and that smoothed it right out. I also removed the metal zipper pull tab and put a loop of 550 nylon cord on instead. Those two mods and the box is perfect for my purpose.I am planning on buying some more for travel kits.
