A well designed trellis, easy to assemble and confident it will last for years. Review: Slightly fragile, but beautiful - I’d have to say it’s very good for the price. However, it is somewhat fragile. You have to be careful assembling it not to break the wood parts by tipping it over, dropping it or twisting it too hard while placing it. The assembly is not extremely easy because you have to drive the screw and screws in without pilot holes pre-drilled. You’re just board the specially made screws right straight in through the metal braces into the wood however it does hold together pretty well that way when you’re placing this in all location after assembly, you need to make sure there’s some kind of footing underneath it that is flat and level otherwise the thing will tend to lean or flip over and break. The styling and design are beautiful. ## Features - 【Build Fantasy Garden】Looking for a stunning addition to your garden or courtyard? It has weathered over a year now and it has endured quite well. Right next to our cedar fence. Also unless they changed it since we purchased ours it does say "fir". Mary H **Q: Has is out installed in the ground? (The similar question received an answer that doesn't make sense to me)** A: If the question is how is it installed in the ground, we cemented ours in. I bought a 3 dollar bag of cement we used old half gallon plant pots that we put in holes so that the tops of the pots were flush with the soil level. The way we did it was to drill a pilot hole in the bottom of each post just slightly smaller than the bolts we were using, then put the bolts in about 1/3 of the way with the other 2/3rds of the bolts sticking out of the bottom. Then we set the bolts in the cement so that the posts are above the soil level. This required clamping a small section of 2x2 for a cross support at soil level to each post to keep it from sinking down in the pots, but you could also use longer bolts or shallower pots to prevent the sinking issue. Hope that helps. **Q: what is the dimension of the post and the tops? is it 2x4?** A: posts are 1 1/4" X 2" and top is 1 1/4" X 3" **Q: is there a gate available for this arbor?** A: Nothing available pre-made. I built my own and mounted gate and arbor on 4x4 posts. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our favorite trellis *by M***. on September 22, 2026* The beautiful trellis leads into our tropical paradise- koi pond and large Plumerias.
