It’s compatible with most brands gate opener, garage door opener and other security systems with both normal open and normal closed dry contact output. The kit includes an extra waterproof cover for sensor and reflector can prevent the condensate on the lens and also block direct sunlight which can improve the reliability and service life of the sensor. Review: Installation tips for a success - Great item - installed on an old Elite 3000 gate after a delivery truck had the gate close on it. Installation tips: I used normally open - test the connection of your safety loop to determine the right wires to use, use the 24V power from the controller board, install the reflector first at the same elevation as the beam and use the loose bolt adjustments on the beam unit housing to adjust rotation up and down - try and mount in a way that you can also adjust the x-axis left and right. The aiming of the unit is the hardest part of the install as it is a narrow beam. If you stand behind the beam you can see the red light from the reflector once you get close the right spot and the beam unit will click from the relay.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with co-z automatic gate opener ?**
A: Yes, the retro-reflective photoelectric sensor is compatible with the CO-Z gate opener.
You can attach the BROWN wire of the sensor to the +12VDC terminal of the control board, the BLUE wire to the GND/COM terminal, the WHITE wire to the I.R. (Infrared Sensor) terminal, the YELLOW wire to the GND/COM terminal.
Please note that the jumper between the I.R. terminal and GND/COM terminal must be removed before wire connection.

**Q: will this work with door king operators?**
A: Yes, the retro-reflective photoelectric sensor is compatible with DOORKING gate operators. You can attach the BROWN wire and the BLUE wire to the auxilary output of the gate opener controller. And you can attach the BLACK wire and the YELLOW wire to the REVERSE& COMMON terminals of the gate opener controller respectively. If you have any problem when using, you can email us (supreform@outlook.com) with the model of the gate opener and we can draw a wiring diagram for you.

**Q: I’d like to get something like this to set off a really loud alarm.  Can you tell me how I would do that?  Basically if anybody walks in an area**
A: Yes! 
You can purchase a 12VDC power supply and a 12VDC horn or buzzer to meet your requirement. 
You can use the 12VDC power supply to power the sensor and also use the normally open output of the sensor to control the 12VDC+ power supply to the horn or buzzer. The negative input of the horn or the buzzer can be attached to the negative of the 12VDC power supply directly. 
Please be noted that the rated power of the power supply should be twice about the rated power of the horn or buzzer. If you still have any problem about the wiring, you can email us (supreform@outlook.com) to get a wiring diagram.

**Q: will this work with ghost controls dual gate opener?**
A: Yes, our sensor is compatible with all series ghost controls gate opener. You can attach the BROWN&BLUE wire to the positive and negative of the 12V battery respectively. And attach the black wire of the sensor to the CLS RVRS terminal and the yellow wire to the COM terminal. The white wire is no use for your applicaiton.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Working as intended

I bought this sensor to add to my newly installed CO-Z opener. There is specific wiring instructions in the customer question and answers for this product on how to specifically wire to a CO-Z opener. I initially had an issue when I first installed this sensor. It was working in reverse. It would only reverse direction when the opener was opening the gate. I contacted Supreform tech support and they recommended reversing the operation switch on the gate. That caused the gate to malfunction until I swapped the magnets around. after reversing the switch, you must also switch the location of the magnets. If the magnet was in the upper position, you need to switch it to the lower position and vice versa. Now the gate opens and closes properly and the beam sensor works as intended. It will stop and reverse the gate if something breaks the beam while closing. Would definitely recommend this product. And customer support was very helpful and quick to respond.
