So, it lost it's appeal from that perspective. One thing to note is that my dog is about 20 pounds, and if this toy was any bigger, it would have been too much for him. I thought that being a "mini" toy, it would have been smaller, so for really small dogs, this probably won't work.The good news is, he did like playing with it and got to it right away. But, because he's an aggressive chewer, it turned out that he was able to tear this one up pretty quickly and easily. It's really tough for us to find him toys that doesn't destroy almost instantly.
