However, because it was made in a factory that also handles milk, they say this to cover themselves in case of cross-contamination. But that's highly unlikely. You'll find that a lot of other vegan products will also say that on the packaging if they are made in a factory that also handles milk. **Q: Hi, the ingredient list says may contain milk. So is this chocolate 100% vegan ?** A: It is 100% vegan. By law they need to say that because the chocolate is prepared in a factory where there is milk and so risk of cross contamination.
