They are paper, so you get a paper products. I do use one mat for all 3 meals, though. **Q: Are these sealed in one or more plastic or cellepane wrap so it is sanitary?** A: The 100 came in a sealed, plastic bag. They were not individually wrapped in wrapped in plastic. They appeared to be sanitary. **Q: Can you color on these?** A: Yes! I researched several options and these don't have that crepe paper texture so they are perfect for coloring on and they are not too thin.
