(too many seem to do 5 stars just because something works upon arival). at this price, I am amazed at a great power amp. Sounds good and will definatly blow up a pair of Mach2 160W speakers. however, I agree with the reviewers who say the fans are too loud. Would be fine in a Band setting with high Volume, but in the living roo at low volume, they need to be in another room, Otherwise this is one of the best deals I ever ran into!!!. great with a Behringer mixer ahead and XLR feeding these. Feeding a pair of Mach2s inthe house, and the other, a pair of Mach2s outside. Have to be careful with the amplitude so not to blow the speakers. Can hear clearly 1/4 mi away. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still going strong. *by on Reviewed in the United States November 3, 2017* Okay, I bought a pair of these back in June but decided to wait a little before posting a review - mostly because of a few "reliability" issues noted by others. I can happily report I have had no such problems.Admittedly working with those amps had a rough start:While they are exactly 2u high, the holes in the flanges force them to not align with the rest of the gear in my rack. Yeah, I can do puzzles and stuff but after running through the possible installation permutations it was clear proper alignment was not possible. In the end I just ended up drilling new holes in the amp's flanges. See the attached pics. The first is a screen shot from the Rockville video and the second a picture of my mounting , washers have subsequently painted black so it actually looks less dorky. Notice the gap (unacceptable!) in the screenshot of the video and the complete lack of gap in my rig.There is an annoying screw on the bottom of the unit that sticks out and grinds on whatever is mounted below it, in my case, the top of the other amp. It is THE screw that holds the heat sync to the case, nice. Solution was to countersink the screw a little, requiring a little drill and tap of the heat sync and minor deformation of the case (dent it in at the screw head) so that the screw head is now flush with the rest of the bottom of the case.Fans are NOISY, not very noticeable in a DJ situation, but since my rig substitutes as my computer gaming sound amp system (oh yeah it rocks!), the excessive fan noise required a little parts swap , no biggie. Quiet fans are pretty cheap.That being said, now they are mounted and running, they rock. They in no way match the specs in the website, but they do put out enough power to punch a couple of Rockville RSG 12.4 speakers and a pair of Rockville SBG1128 woofers well enough to make sufficient sound levels for "recreational" level DJ-ing. Paying gigs would require more serious gear, but for what I spent on it all, it is quite sufficient. In spite of their shortcomings, they pack a fair bit of power for the buck so I'll likely pick up a couple more, eventually. Again, I have been fortunate enough to not have experienced any reliability issues.
