Review: Excellent cleaning cloths! They do have an odor but it dissipates quickly - I bought this to use on my every day carry concealed firearm. I had no idea holstered inside-of-the-waistband fireams would get so filthy so quickly, but every bit of lint and dust seems to gather on and in it. Plus, I'd been the range a couple of times and hadn't cleaned it for a few months (I know, I know, I need to clean it more often). I try to clean it regularly, but thought I'd up my game with these wipes. And I am not dissapointed. They smell fairly strong when you first take one out, but not terribly unpleasant. It smells kind of like my grandfathers machine shop I guess. In the course of 30 minutes I used two of them in the dissasembly, cleaning, lubricating, and reassembly of my firearm. I wiped the entirety of the exterior two times as well. They work great, picked up a lot of gunk, and were easy to use. I don't know if you are supposed to use them barehanded, but I did, and whatever oil/cleaning solution that is on them wiped right off my hands and didn't make a mess. I even used it on every nook and crevice of the grip, and these wipes cleaned it perfectly. When I was done I wiped off the gun with a clean towel, and was easily able to get every bit of residue off without any effort. The grip was left clean, non-slippery, and safe to use. I was concerned there would be a strong odor, and to be fair, there was a bit of one, but it wasn't unpleasant. And whatever odor there was dissipated quickly, and within a week you couldn't smell much of anything except a "clean gun" when you put it to your nose. I like these, and will continue to use them on all of my firearms. I also see a use for them on mechanical slip-rings and rotary positive contact switches, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet for that. Excellent product, for every bit of your firearm!
