Q: How would you recommend washing them?

To get them ready they tell you to run them under water. I wouldn't recommend washing with soap. Only because rocks are porous and may absorb some of the soap. No one wants soapy whiskey!

Q: We had the rocks in the freezer for 24 hrs. & put in glass with room temperature Scotch..This didn’t cool the drink. why not?

I've found that I chill my glass and use the stones to make them work best.

Q: Size of individual stones

Dear customer, the dimension for each rock is 35mm (diameter) and 20mm (thickness).

Q: The rocks came with brown spots on it. Almost all of them have them, is this from the stain or from cutting the stones?

I believe it's from the stain on the wooden box. I just washed them, then they were fine .
