It is almost the carry on maximum size for most airlines. The personal item size limit is just over half the size of this thing. You can carry this as your large item and a tote bag or purse or daypack sized backback or laptop case as your "personal" item. **Q: Will it fit under plane seat?** A: Yes, it fits in the overhead compartment and under seat. We suggest not pack too much and using the compression straps.
