The instructions say to heat it and apply pressure for the adhesive to stick, I tried all different levels of heat from slight to nearly melting the stuff and none made it stick to plastic when the part is shaped with curves etc. I tried to wrap a car interior vent surround but I wasted nearly half of the role for one small vent and it still wasn't very good.
