We have a garage that enters in the basement and are finishing the basement to be a welcoming entry into the house. This hall tree fit our space perfectly. The bottom holds my husband's shoes and it’s a good place for the kids to sit and put their shoes on before leaving. There is a “distressed” look to the surface which looks fine. I ordered some baskets to hold gloves on the top shelf and added a welcome sign and other decor to the top as well. The baskets, rustic jar, and welcome sign are all from desertcart as well. Also, they are much taller than expected. The only complaint is the assembly instructions...they weren't there, in either box. Each box had the big red "Checked" stamp on them, but apparently not. I searched the leftover packaging and in each wrapped piece, nada. Head over to the manufacturers site and download the instructions...the PDF is missing step 1 LOL.
