Review: Its a great $50 deba - It is exactly what they tell you it is. It's a cheap, $50 deba with surprisingly good build quality. The handle is beautiful and highly unexpected at this price point and the tang is nicely sealed at the handle. The blade has heft, is nice and sharp ootb and the logo isn't obnoxious like a lot of these desertcart knives are. This isn't a true single bevel knife but it works just fine as one. If you manage your expectations for this $50 knife from desertcart it will probably exceed them a bit.

Grinds are perfect and correct for these single bevel knives. Handles are properly shaped, comfortable, and have no gaps anywhere. Fit to the blades are superb. Not sure of the steel they use, but it's not bad. Holds an edge decently well and sharpens easily. If they used a more premium steel these knives could easily sell for a few hundred dollars. I personally think they under price them as it is. Great job with these knives. Keep it up BigSunny!

It is exactly what they tell you it is. It's a cheap, $50 deba with surprisingly good build quality. The handle is beautiful and highly unexpected at this price point and the tang is nicely sealed at the handle. The blade has heft, is nice and sharp ootb and the logo isn't obnoxious like a lot of these Amazon knives are. This isn't a true single bevel knife but it works just fine as one. If you manage your expectations for this $50 knife from Amazon it will probably exceed them a bit.

Damn I did not expect it to be such a good knife. I wanted a heavy deba to do some more heavy work in the kitchen. For the price I did not think that it would be sharp and that I would have to grind it on my Wheatstone for a bit. but this thing came in super sharp. The handle fits great in the knife and as a nice heft to it. Great deba.
