I've moved on to use Speedo Ergo Ear Plugs, Silver. Works great, stays in place, and last a long time. I swim 2-3 times a week with it and I've had it since September 22, 2014. **Q: Are they like squishy and can you mold them** A: You can mold them. **Q: Can these be used in dog ears?** A: I suppose, theoretically. You can pinch off any amount you want. They're the only ones that actually worked for me to keep water out because you can shape and mold them to fit your ear. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work great if used properly *by K***3 on November 30, 2016* When I was researching which ear plugs to buy I read about pieces getting stuck in kids' ears and getting stuck in your hair. These will do that if you use them improperly. They're supposed to cover the hole in the ear (looked it up, called the concha, that circular area in the middle of the external parts of the ear - I form them to that area). They're NOT supposed go into the ear canal. And put your hair up if you're in the pool so you don't contribute to pools' hairball problem ;) I also saw someone else's review that these are basically just wax, and I agree with that statement. I like these though! They protect my ears and make it more comfortable for me to swim. Bonus: stifles the sounds of noisy kids. The only compliant I have is that they will pick up any dirt or particles since they are waxy. I recommend wiping down your ears before putting them in.
