Overall the book looks and feels new, but several recipes are heavily overwritten with someone else's annotations on doubling the ingredients or changing the directions. One recipe has an entire lengthy step drawn through with arrows meaning to skip that step and go to the next one below. The person who made the notations has lovely handwriting and used a very hard mechanical pencil, but this means it is not a new book. I'll keep the book as I love the author and his style of cooking, but it is not a new book! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enjoyable cookbook *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on May 15, 2017* I have made several recipes out of this book, about half of them have worked 100% successfully, and 90% were still delicious even though they didn't come off quite right. My only outright fail was the falafel, which I will try again using dry chickpeas. I like the premise of delicious, healthful foods and there are some interesting flavor combinations that I've never tried before, and I'm enjoying trying new things. Due to the author being Irish, I was expecting lighter takes on Irish food, however, these recipes are from all over the map.
