He explained that either the ignitor or ballast could be bad so I should switch around the ignitors to make sure they were working. Did that, each ignitor worked on the functioning headlight. That left the ballast as the culprit. Found an amazing price on Amazon (dealer price was a few hundred more). It arrived the next day and I took on the project this morning.Had to remove the bumper to take out the headlight assembly get to the ballast underneath the assembly. Turns out that the ballast got soaked because there is a cap missing on the driver side fender liner. After installing the new ballast I hooked it up and turned it on the headlights to be sure. It felt like the brightest light I have seen in months!! Worked perfectly!!If you're willing to take on the project and invest an hour in the process, do it your damn self and save the money. If I had done it with the dealer and mechanic it would have cost me almost $600. By getting the part and doing it myself it only cost me $53.98 and an hour. I'll take that over a $600 mechanic bill any day!!!!Same product without the high price tag.
