Is it raw or toasted?** A: Yes, it is 100% Dulse. It is Raw, dried, & not toasted. It is SeaTangy delicious too! **Q: Why does the package have a California warning about lead and chemicals?** A: This is a blanket warning on most products sold in California. You'll find it on car purchase documents, bags made with plastic or man made faux leathers, gasoline, water sold in plastic bottles, and just about anything else. This protects the seller from class action law suits. My guess is that since the product comes in a plastic bag it needed the warning to be sold in California.
