Review: Boil 3 minutes or less for al dente' - Excellent product - was purchasing it at our local Jewel grocery store but it's hit-&-miss, so ordered multiple boxes from desertcart. With a gluten sensitivity, I've been trying different gluten-free pastas, and so far I find the Explore Cuisine brands of pasta the best. I check the carb # on the boxes and so far the Edamame is the lowest. Weigh out 2 ounces per person, and it is more than enough for a serving size, while still getting a high protein meal. If you want a more al dente' texture, either cook at the lowest time of 3 minutes or, me, I boil it for only a little over 2 minutes, drain the water, then add filtered water, and drain again. Favorite recipes are: 1) can of Bar Harbour whole clams with Lacinato Kale ribbons in a good basil/tomato pasta sauce; and 2) baby scallops sautéed in garlic scape pesto.

This pasta is fantastic, and the company delivers it perfectly. Our family eats only GF, and edamame is our favorite. It’s so much more nutritious than white-flour noodles, adds an interesting texture, and soaks up the sauce flavors well.
