A: no, just on the hour

**Q: Where is the switch to turn the sound off? Is it on the back of the clock or is it easy to access while hanging on the wall?**
A: the volume control will be along the side of the clock.

A: Yes, all 3 windows light up and on the hour plays music. BUY IT!  Well constructed.

**Q: Is this silent during the night (while we're sleeping)?**
A: There is a volume button that can be turned down so it won't be loud during the night.
