Best contraption ever!! She won't let anyone touch her feet so her nails haven't been cut EVER! (She's 8 this October). I was able to trim her feet hair and clip her nails. She did really well!! The nail clippers were nice and sharp too! We got some hefty hooks to go in the beams of our garage and cut down a strong metal pole to use.we added some straps called tie down straps to adjust the height. I did have to return the first one because the leg holes weren't far enough apart for her. Be sure to measure the distance from the front of your dogs front legs to the back of the back legs. This is a game changer and a money saver. I was worried that I'd have to have the vet's office sedate her to cut her nails which would have been expensive- so this really saved us a lot of money and time. She wasn't the least bit traumatized either--- and you know how emotional Huskies can be!! It seems to be made very well and the material is very soft yet durable. I'm so happy to know that now I can cut her nails as often as needed! Review: Works great, dog hates it - The Supet Dog Grooming Hammock is a practical tool for grooming small dogs and cats, designed to make the process easier for both pets and their owners. For my little 10 lb dog, the hammock proved to be effective, even if he wasn't a fan of it. Setting up the hammock was straightforward, and it provided a secure way to keep my dog still while grooming. The fabric is durable and supportive, ensuring he felt safe despite his initial reluctance. Once in the hammock, it allowed me to access hard-to-reach areas, making grooming tasks like nail trimming and fur brushing much more manageable. While my dog was not particularly fond of the experience—showing some resistance initially—it's clear that the hammock does its job well. It kept him stable, which is a significant advantage when trying to groom a wiggly pet. The adjustable straps are a nice touch, accommodating different sizes and providing a comfortable fit. This grooming hammock is a great investment for pet owners who want to simplify grooming sessions. Although it may take some time for pets to get used to it, the benefits of having a secure and efficient grooming solution are undeniable.
