These classic Mexican blankets, also known as falsa or baja blankets, are woven at a small operation in central Mexico that has been run by the same family for generations. Each blanket is 69Õ x 48Õ, with fringes on both ends, and is made of a soft blend of recycled fabrics (70% polyester; 20% acrylic; 10% cotton). These vintage-style, lightweight falsa blankets are ideal to decorate your space with a Southwestern vibe or to be used as a throw. They are also great for display tables, table cloth, twin bedspreads, seat covers, tapestry, or custom cut-and-sew projects. They are perfect for yoga & meditation, picnics, beach and surf trips, and camping excursions. The Verde Sabina falsa blanket is the best companion for your next big adventure. Whether youÕre backpacking around the world, hiking a mountain, or simply chilling by the bonfire or lounging at home on the couch, you canÕt go wrong with our Mexican blankets! Our blankets and serapes are 100% sustainable & eco-friendly: they are made entirely of discarded fabrics, leftover from the clothing manufacturing process and upcycled to create our awesome falsa blankets. This unique recycling process allows to produce fabrics without dyeing, as the discarded fabrics are sorted by color, and then spinned into new yarn. This process uses zero water and is chemical-free. These holidays, our blankets are the perfect gift for those eco-conscious buyers looking to bring some authentic Mexican charm to their loved ones. ## Features - Made in Mexico by a small family operation keeping the tradition alive for generations. - Authentic high quality Mexican blankets, with unmatched consistency. Ad says true to color however the areas that are shown as tan in the picture are actually a very deep brown. The labeling on the package gives the same exact description as the ad so it was sent correctly. I'm keeping this since it is nice regardless of the color difference but I won't be using it as I had originally planned since it is not the color I was expecting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice piece *by F***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 14, 2017* Good quality, well made and has nice soft, natural colors. Not garish like many of the Mexican made blankets. Makes a nice, subtle addition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Love it *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 18, 2017* Such a beautiful product!!! The material is a lot thicker and softer than I expected so I am really happy about that. The design is also beautiful! I definitely recommend!! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/40113435-mexican-falsa-blanket-yoga-throw-beach-teal-grey-zigzag-sayulita](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/40113435-mexican-falsa-blanket-yoga-throw-beach-teal-grey-zigzag-sayulita) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
